Motion test

Here is a dynamic test I made with C4D. I tried to stabilize the spheres around the red dot and then drop on the floor. In the next step, I will explore how to use Xpresso to animate the object without keyframe.



This is the piece I used Xpresso and sound effector to control the scale and position of object, pretty close to the effect that I want to achieve. I only used drums to test if it works.

Second animatic

It took me a week to put all sequences together. I'm not satisfy with this animatic, several problems need to modify. I just put the sound track in the video to test how it looks, so the music is not accord with the motion graphics.

Direction Workshop

In the beginning of semester two, we made a 1 minute short film named 'All made up' for direction workshop. Everyone had to brain storm an idea in the first day of the workshop. The idea should follow several restrictions.

1 minute in length,
3 human characters,
It should have a minimum of 7 shots and maximum of 10 shots.
It should have dialogue.

I worked in the group which applied Tricia Anderson's script with James(media art), Adam and Tricia. Tricia was the producer, James was the director, Adam was the cameraman and the lighting engineer and  I was the editor. The working process was went well and all team-workers tried their best.

Motion test with explosion FX

I just got some new idea about my new animatic, I will finish it before 16, May. This is the motion test of the explosion FX tools in Cinema 4d.I also textured the model with sketch tag. Personally I prefer the sketch style compare with the realistic style.
